As a young girl, I was drawn to dance in all its forms, and it gradually became my passion. During my college days, I turned to Zumba as a way to stay fit, as it came naturally to me. I thought I was in control of my mental and physical wellbeing, as I could easily last through a one-hour Zumba session. But then came motherhood at the age of 26, and even after my second pregnancy at 31, I continued with the same routine. It wasn't until my body started talking to me in many ways that I realized the need to adapt and listen to what my body was telling me. For me, it took two pregnancies to change my perception about health, strength, stability, and, most importantly, mindfulness. I knew that practicing yoga under proper guidance would be the right choice for me since it was a holistic approach that I could do at my own pace and anytime, anywhere. I felt incredibly comfortable and confident to start my yoga journey with Vrithica, who has guided me since six months after my second delivery until today, four years later. I walked into her class with sleepless nights, backache, and fatigue, but never once did the thought cross my mind to quit. Each session has renewed and strengthened me. I had severe lower back pain and a very weak core, but now I can do any workout, treks, or aerobics with no back or knee issues. Vrithica brings in new class plans every day with varied yoga sessions to ensure we work on every muscle of our body and look forward to something new in every class. She always focuses on posture correction, guided breathing, and ensures the entire class is focused and has knowledge of every movement or asana we are holding. Very few people touch our lives in this journey of ours, and I feel fortunate to have met Vrithica and had the opportunity to train under her.

I'm 55 years old today and eight years ago when I retired from my teaching job I decided to tick off yoga from my bucket list. I attended a few classes but found them slow and repetitive. A building mate introduced me to a more satisfying class where I first met Vrithica who pushed me to work harder, introducing me to the idea of "enjoying the pain" - not the bad kind, but the good kind that lets you know your body is reaping the benefits of your practice. As a mother with gynaecological issues, my doctor advised me against surgery, and to take care naturally. I was guided to work out in a way that not only helped coping with my problem but also allowed me to explore more asanas. I never had the courage to do suryanamaskar, but I continued to enjoy my classes until Mr. Covid hit and a new normal took its place disrupting set routines. I was elated when Vrithica agreed to my request and started taking classes online. She surprised me by deepening my understanding of my problem and human physiology. We follow a systematic pattern of warm-up, pranayama, asanas, meditation, and shavasana. It's been 5 years since I started practicing yoga and I have finally built up the confidence to practice suryanamaskar. I understand my body better and able to cope with the challenges and limitations of it. Vrithica's dedication is evident in the knowledge she brings into the lesson plans, with renewed energy every day. She's a perfectionist and a taskmaster but with incredible patience and empathy. I feel comfortable opening up to her, not only because she understands me well but also because she is not dismissive when I spell out my concerns. I'm grateful to her for keeping me on my toes for an hour every day. Hats off to her, and thanks to her.

I began my journey as a yogi with Vrithica as my Guru during the early days of my IT career to help me with the stress and physical imbalance that came with the job. I struggled with flexibility, core strength and asthma related problems. The coaching and individual attention I received put me in tune with my body and I was astonished on how I was completely out of rhythm with my breath, considering that I was a chronic asthma patient. The various breathing techniques and well-balanced class plans played a major role in increasing my immunity and I definitely started to utilise more and more lung space as I continued the journey. After a brief break, I got back to yoga for help, post maternity and Vrithica is a specialist in guiding new mothers through this phase. I regained a lot of the lost strength and my recovery, post-partum, was a memorable journey on its own, thanks to the great class plan that helped me transition so smoothly back to healthy and pain free ways of living, slowly but very steadily. As a nursing mother and a working professional, I am now able to balance both responsibilities with enhanced physical and mental fitness, which was otherwise a daily emotional roller-coaster for me – All thanks to some very well thought fitness regimes that Vrithica introduced me to. I would greatly recommend her tutelage to everyone that is pursuing their own journey of Yoga

I got associated with Vrithica and her Yoga prowess when I was struggling with the typical ailments that most people of today’s generation face – chronic back issues, posture related ailments, early onset of arthritis, borderline diabetes and thyroid and its repercussions. I enrolled myself in the yoga studio hesitantly thinking there’s no way out of these and like I experienced with most other yoga trainers before, I assumed this was just another training place, just close to my house. I was proven wrong within a month of enrolment, as my body and it’s daily routines started easing up slowly. Smooth orientation and introduction to classes as a beginner, well-paced progression from simple to complex asanas being mindful at the same time of the student’s health constraints, subtle but constant motivation to challenge mind blocks, innovative approach in coaching both online and in person students exactly the same way. Very well planned and balanced sessions, picking up pace through the week, coupled with meditation and the ever encouraging words makes it a total and complete package for one to come out satisfied after each session of blissful yoga. My physical, mental and emotional well-being has improved drastically ever since, thanks to the targeted and well planned classes. Meditation along with the regular physical exercises and great advice from Vrithica on dietary and food changes forged a great path for me to get back to living a pain free lifestyle, especially when I was dealing with an auto immune disorder like Hypothyroidism which can throw our regular lives into disarray. Vrithica did mention early on that this was going to be a journey and not a picnic and that discipline, dedication and commitment was required to realise the benefits of yoga. Highly recommend Vrithica to be the Guru to so many of us that need her genuine advice, guidance and motivation to start walking on the path of overall wellbeing and being in great health! Great space and person to start your journey into Yoga and stay on the path to continuous overall well-being.
